Time to Make 4th of July Dinner Reservations in Sausalito
Lots of people will be calling the Sausalito view restaurants in two or three weeks trying to get reservations for lunch or dinner for the 4th of July in Sausalito. The Bay view spots that have a view of the fireworks will be an especially tough table later in the evening, when parties will stay to watch the festivities. Be sure to read our 4th of July in Sausalito article for advice on driving and parking.
Insider's Tip: That's why now is the time to call if you want to be one of the lucky ones who has a spot to see the fireworks. Some top places to consider:
The Chamber of Commerce BBQ in Gabrielson Park -- You can reserve tables (they cost $50-$100 based on location), order party platters and wine etc. Deadline for food is Wed. July 1.
Horizons -- Their outside deck is suspended out over the water, and should offer a good view of the fireworks.
The Spinnaker -- Tables on the San Francisco side of The Spinnaker should have a great view of the fireworks, although they should be visible from just about everywhere in the restaurant.
Scoma's -- The handful of tables in the outer room at the end of the restaurant should have an excellent view of the fireworks.
Eating at any of the downtown or Caledonia St. restaurants will give you the chance to enjoy your meal and then take a leisurely stroll to Gabrielson Park or the Bridgeway promenade by Scoma's and Horizons. The fireworks show is a nice one, but not so long that you can't enjoy it standing up.

That is too cool! thanks.*
