Golden Gate Ferry Adds 7 Incoming, 5 Outgoing Ferries Daily for Art Festival
Although relatively few visitors to the Sausalito Art Festival traverse the Bay Bridge to criss-cross San Francisco city streets en route here, the Bridge's closure this weekend is one more reason to make sure the Festival has plenty of Ferry service.
In addition to the boats from Fisherman's Wharf that go directly to the Festival pier (check out our guide to getting to the Festival here) and the Blue and Gold trips from the Wharf to the downtown pier, the Golden Gate Ferry has added seven incoming and five outbound voyages for the three days of the Festival. Free shuttles will bring visitors from the Ferry pier to the Art Festival grounds.
The Blue and Gold Fleet schedule from Fisherman's Wharf is here. The schedule for the expanded Golden Gate Ferry service is below, with asterisks to mark the specially added voyages:

The normal Blue and Gold Fleet schedule from Fisherman's Wharf will be in effect, and is here. The schedule above supersedes the normal Golden Gate Transit schedule from September 5 - September 7 and returns to its usual schedule on September 8.
