The latest exhibit from the Sausalito Historical Society is “Artistic Sausalito: An Historical Exhibit.”
The exhibit chronicles the original works of Sausalito artists from the 1940s and ’50s who gave our town its reputation as a contemporary center of bohemian activity. Artists featured in the exhibit include Enid Foster, Peggy Tolk-Watkins, Jean Varda, Walter Kuhlman (whom we just lost this year), Ruth Alexander, Val Bleeker, Ed and Loyola Fourtane, Nan Fowler and Ted Christensen.
The opening reception will be hosted by the Sausalito Historical Society on Monday, March 1, 2010 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Historical Society Gallery, Sausalito City Hall, Top Floor.
