Best Casual Restaurants
Winter, 2013 -- The Shorts Top 10TM list ranks the top-rated casual restaurants in Sausalito.
A note about the term "Casual": Our society has changed. Compared to one or two generations ago, every restaurant in Sausalito welcomes guests in casual clothing. Michelin-Rated Murray Circle routyinely seats diners in shorts and flip-flops. The moral: Don't be scared away from other top restaurants just because they didn't make this list. The "jacket and tie required" rule of the old Alta Mira is no longer relevant.

How about Sartaj India Cafe?

Denise, Sartaj India Cafe has in fact made the list in some prior months, and has even made a couple of appearances in the Top Ten on our overall Best Restaurants list (which covers places open for lunch and dinner).
When we tallied the numbers for July, however, Sartaj was not in the Top Ten for Casual Restaurants. We would not, however, be surprised to see them returning there in the future.
Thanks for your comment!

And, it's interesting to note, Sartaj has been back on the list for both Summer and Autumn of 2010!
