Listings in this section are free to Sausalito residents and to people who visited Sausalito and lost something here. We can't promise we'll get to every email instantly (we spend a lot of time on airplanes) but we know that feeling of losing something and we'll do our best.
We recommend using this page in addition to calling places you may have lost your item, checking with Sausalito Police (who, based on our experience, will be respectful of you and not make you feel like you're bothering them), placing an ad in Lost and Found on Craigslist etc.

April 28, 2013 -- I visited Sausalito by bike around 4pm today Sunday 4/28 and I lost my digital camera. I think I dropped it when I was parking my bike at the racks located near the park downtown next to the public restrooms and the Bank of America. I believe it was a Samsung camera and it was it a black camera pouch. If found, please email or call me at 281-865-4193. Thanks for your help.
February 18, 2013 -- LOST: 2nd generation iPod touch in black rubber case at approximately 4-430pm on Monday, February 18, 2013, near Sausalito USA/City Wear (683 Bridgeway), 1/2 block north of Princess St., across the street from Napa Valley Burger Co. January 28, 2013 -- I believe I left at the Visitor Center or Bar Bocce my black tote which says Harrod's London with a picture of a white dog on the side and INSIDE are my very expensive prescription eyeglasses which I would l Love to have returned to me here in Seattle, no questions asked.
