Sausalito Seahorse
Fast Forward SummaryTM: Sausalito's new Seahorse Restaurant opened in 2010 in the Northern Sausalito area near the Post Office and Mollie Stone's. A great idea unique to Seahorse is that groups of six or more can call ahead for pickup by the Seahorse van, and they will also drive people home if they don't have a designated driver and need one. Call 415-331-BUZZ (someone has a good sense of humor!) for more details.
Seahorse is notable for its nightly music performances, which you can find listed on the Seahorse website, and they have frequent activities like dance lessons that draw a regular crowd of participants. If you're new to the area this is a place where you can go and meet new people.
Google Map Instructions: Use the "+" and "-" buttons to zoom in and out, the arrow keys to scroll the map, and the SAT button to see the satellite view.

There's another big dance party with Freddy Clarke tomorrow Saturday April 24th at 8:30pm to 12:00 midnight.
Sausalito Seahorse is at 305 Harbor Drive @ Gate 5, the old Saylors Landing spot. Hosted by Mauro Dosolini who has Piccolo Cafe on the water where Princess hits Bridgeway, he was the originator of Caffe Devino which he sold a few years ago.
The Doc Kraft event for April Fools (on April 2nd) was a total, total blast. Look for a repeat on Saturday. I was contracted to Photograph for an hour and did a 4.25 hour stint, dancing with my Nikon (and some wonderbar women + a few girls)
