The Sausalito Ferry is the fastest way to get back and forth between Sausalito and downtown San Francisco or Fisherman’s Wharf. It’s also been named the #2 ferry ride in the world, trailing only the Star Ferry in Hong Kong. I’ve been lucky enough to ride on both, and even Seattle (a great ferry ride) and Staten Island (with the Statue of Liberty) have to fight it out for #3 in my book.
Four generations of my family have commuted on the Sausalito Ferry, and the Sausalito pier is just a few blocks from my office. I have lots of Insider Tips to share with you!
