Guide to the Sausalito Art Festival 2009
Update for Monday, the Final Day of the Festival -- Biggest "disappointments that you can avoid" -- People brought their dogs, and only service animals like Guide Dogs are allowed on the grounds so the dogs can't enter. Strollers also aren't allowed inside the Festival.
Luxury Travel: The shuttle buses from the parking areas, the Ferry pier and downtown Sausalito are big, luxurious tour buses so people are riding in style. Bike riders get free valet bike parking!

Art Festival Announces Music for 2009, Closes with Woodstock Tribute

The Sausalito Art Festival has announced their musical lineup for 2009, and we think it will be one of the highlights of the entire musical history of the event. The show closes with a 40th Anniversary of Woodstock Tribute, with a fabulous lineup of top San Francisco bands who performed at the seminal music festival.
You've heard us describe our Editorial Director with words like "tyrannical." But tonight he is willing to admit he's old enough to remember the Summer of Love in Sausalito, and positively giddy about the newly-announced lineup:

Looking for info on an artist exhibiting at 2005 show. There is a slide show from that event on one of the web sites ( slide 10). Can ANYONE please tell me who that is?! Been trying to figure it out for 4 yrs. Realized my husband and I were both taken with that artist - this NEVER happens! Would love to locate and purchase a painting for our 30th anniversary.
