The Sausalito Art Festival has made sign-ups easy for volunteers this year, with an online system that lets you choose where and when you’d like to serve. If you are part of an organized group that has its own booth, your group organizer will give you a password you can enter at the top of the page, which will then add the selected booth to your choices.
The non spiritual awards for volunteering (since the spiritual ones are more individual!) are:
— You get in for free on the day you work
— A 2017 Sausalito Art Festival commemorative T-Shirt
— You’re invited to the Volunteer Appreciation Party
The requirements:
— You have to be at least 16 years old (21 if you’re in a booth that serves alcohol)
— You can’t wear open-toed shoes (“Why?” you may ask.)
— You have to attend an orientation meeting for volunteers, either Thursday, August 24th at 6:00 PM or Saturday August 26th at 6:00 PM. Both meetings will be at the Bay Model.
At least two of our family members will be volunteering, and we look forward to seeing you there!
