Sausalito Post Office hours are:
Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday – Sunday: Closed for Counter Service, Open for mail drop-off.
Last Daily Pickup: is 5:00 PM Monday through Friday (shortened recently) and 3:15 PM on Saturday.
Bulk Mail Acceptance: 10:00 AM — 12:00 Noon Monday-Friday. Although the facility is closed they will accept bulk drop-offs 1-2 PM on Saturday at the back door.
Passport Applications (Advance Appointment Required) and Passport Photos (No Appointment required but making an advance appointment will save you time in line): 11:30 AM – 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.
Insiders Tip: This is a great place to get your passport photo and application taken care of all in one shot for a reasonable price, and when I did it here the process saved me lots of time over prior years.
Note: The USPS Website and Yelp at one time had the wrong hours for the Sausalito Post Office, but it has now been corrected.
