Special Sausalito City Council Meeting Sat. July 11 for Harbor & Downtown Action Committee Report

The Committee passed along this information to us to help get the word out to Sausalito residents:
The City Council began the "Imagine Sausalito" visioning process over two years ago to gather a wide cross-section of inputs about the City’s future. Similar to a highly successful initiative to the north in San Rafael, the program involved over 140 people who worked over the course of many meetings to develop a set of general goals, broken down into six separate working groups. The groups' reports are available on the City’s website.
The Harbor and Downtown Action Committee was assigned the task of recommending how to implement the Imagine Sausalito goals in Downtown Sausalito. After over 30 public meetings, the Committee has published its Final Report, and this special Council meeting at a larger venue is to present the report to the public.
