Olga Murray of Sausalito founded the Nepalese Youth Opportunity Foundation (“NYOF”) in 1990 to serve homeless, orphaned, indentured and endangered children in Nepal. Among the many accomplishments of the NYOF is the freeing of thousands of girls from poor families who had been sold into domestic slavery in the homes of higher caste citizens of the isolated Himalayan nation
Olga will speak about her mission to provide these children education, housing and medical care, all to give them a positive vision for their own futures that would be impossible without NYOF.
This will be a very special evening with a woman who has not only selflessly dedicated so much of her life to others, but who has succeeded in making the dreams of thousands of children in Nepal come true.
