Parking: Parking will be available nearby at the Westamerica Plaza. A complimentary shuttle bus will take you to and from the event. Parking will not be available in the Floating Homes Community.

This year’s Sausalito Floating Homes Tour theme is “Homefront on the Waterfront” and commemorates the 75th Anniversary of Marinship. Along with getting this rare opportunity to look inside 15 of these unique floating homes (including ones built from WWII surplus), you’ll be treated to music, swing dancers and cars from the 40’s era, as well as, exhibits from local artists and authors. Everyone attending is encouraged to wear their favorite 1940’s attire. Food and drink will be available for purchase.

Want to volunteer at the event? The Floating Home Association is still looking for a few volunteers to help at the event. Volunteers are asked to work a three-hour shift, and in exchange, are allowed to take the houseboats tour for free. Plus, there is a volunteer appreciation party immediately following the event!
