After the dramatic tent-building of days 1 and 2, workers at the Sausalito Art Festival on Day 3 were stockpiling wood for building booths and other facilities, and putting a fresh coat of paint on the ticket window buildings and the Festival sign.
On Day 1 we showed an image of the sign being cleaned and reassembled. The photo above, taken in twilight at the end of Day 3 on Thursday, shows the freshly painted and restored sign waiting to be hoisted into place above the ticket windows.
One of the insider secrets about the Festival is that in some time slots the musicians on the smaller artists-area stage are as good or better than the better known acts in the big tent.  They started building that small stage today, erecting a series of risers about 24 inches high.
