Workers at the Sausalito Art Festival today erected a majority of the booths that will house the exhibiting artists work in just 10 days from now. They were painting the metal box that supports the entry sign (see yesterday's post) and drilling holes in the pavement — yes, drilling holes in the pavement — to put up the posts for the temporary chain link fence. The fence will surround the ;portions of the Festival not normally enclosed by the Marinship Park and Bay Model's permanent fences.
One of our faborite moments of the day was seeing them add little pennants to the top of each booth that flap energetically in the wind.
The shot at the right was taken through the open ticket window of one of the little buildings by the front gate.
