Puzzle of the Day: Dolphin or Sea Lion?
This has been a wild week for us here at OurSausalito.com.  After all of the excitement of the Art Festival, our office wa swept by an outbreak of the Fever of Feargus Fen, a mysterious butt-kicking illness with deep roots in Sausalito maritime culture.  OK, we just made up that historical part, but the Fever of Feargus Fen did leave us all appreciating that we live in the Age of Antbiotics.
This all has nothing to do with dolphins and sea lions, but does explain why we were so happy to NOT have everyone be sick as we start this new week.
As we all returned to work Monday we were greeted with a fascinating puzzle, courtesy of Contributing Editor and Photographer Sabine Stetson. We keep hearing stories of dolphins near the rocks off the Bridgeway Promenade, but sailors will tell you those sightings are usually sea lions, that the dolphins are farther out in the Bay and outside the Golden Gate.
But this one seemed to keep breaching the surface in the way we're used to seeing with dolphins, and Stetson's lightning-fast reflexes caught this photo. So what do you think, Sausalito? Dolphin or sea lion?
