As of April 1, Covid concerns have prevented scheduling of the Jazz and Blues by the Bay series for 2021, so it seems almost certain that we’re going to have to wait for 2022. Information from our last pre-pandemic Jazz and Blues cycle in 2019 is below to whet your musical appetite.
Summer Jazz and Blues by the Bay concerts are held each Friday from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Gabrielson Park in downtown Sausalito (see map below) from end of May through the end of August. These concerts are presented free of charge for lawn seating, and you can also buy single or season-long tables for your very own Jazz and Blues by the Bay picnic.

Produced by the Sausalito Parks and Recreation Dept., the Jazz and Blues by the Bay concerts feature top local performers. Food and beverages are sold on site by local non-profit groups, or you can bring your own. If the fog rolls in, event sweatshirts and t-shirts are available, and a fleece and nylon stadium blanket is only $10.
Concerts are recorded and rebroadcast each week on Radio Sausalito on AM1610, which can also be accessed online and via podcast.
