Fast Forward SummaryTM: "Saylor's" has been a name associated with restaurants in Sausalito for over ten years, despite a move from a harbor-side grill to a Bridgeway brick building. Saylor's has two distinct sides to its menu: American (with a generous pasta section) and Mexican. This is because the menu combines the best dishes from the two restaurants Sean Saylor ran before a landlord dispute closed the popular grill called "Saylor's Landing." They took the Saylor's Landing menu, moved it to nearby Mexican restaurant "Saylor's South of the Border," kept the best of the Mexican dishes and the new Saylor's Restaurant and Bar was born. These guys are very serious experts on tequila, so if that's your special drink this is your place. Saylor's has not drawn a lot of attention on the Internet, but it is a popular spot with local residents. In nice weather their secluded back patio is a great place for lunch.
