Prices are reported for Sausalito accomodations on a weekday and for a weekend day approximately 6 weeks in the future, excepting holidays. 

Hotels constantly change their rates for Sausalito lodging, so these are guidelines rather than actual prices.  The bottom five hotels on the list have very similar prices, but on a given day you can find high variations due to occupancy levels.

The lowest priced choices are motels, not hotels, and do not offer the same services.

Inn Above Tide, Gables Inn and Hotel Sausalito may require a two-night stay on weekends.

Many of these hotels include a free light breakfast buffet as part of the room charge.  Be sure to ask about this as it can be automatic in some cases and only tied to certain rooms in others.

Mill Valley, the location of several listed hotels, is just north of Sausalito.

Only the Inn Above Tide has Bay views from all rooms; at most hotels less expensive rooms generally do not have Bay views.  Most-expensive rooms listed above are usually suites.

Holiday and summer prices will be higher than other dates.  Special promotional rates are not considered, only those prices that come up through standard reservations on the hotels' own sites.  Always investigate price options for better deals -- this year there are a lot of deals out there for all but the most popular dates and places.
