Personal Note:  It often happens that what our surveys calculate and what we think personally are very different.  The choices above, which reflect general public sentiment, are excellent. We would want to add two celebration places from our personal choices because of their fabulous views:

  • The Spinnaker, a more traditional restaurant, which has breathtaking views. We’ve brought out of town guests here for years for birthdays, business meetings, etc. and they’ve loved it.
  • The Trident, one of the most famous rock star dining destinations of the last 50 years (from Janis Joplin to the Rolling Stones), with most of its famous 1960’s woodwork still intact. Many of the stars came here while recording at The Record Plant in Sausalito. Your friend who can recite when each member of Journey joined or left the band and which albums they can be heard on? Bring him here for his birthday.
