Note: Sausalito’s movie theatre was going to go through a major remodel after suddenly being closed (and, according to local eyewitnesses, trashed) in July, 2016 by its prior operator, the Cinearts chain. Unfortunately, after two years of effort no new cinema tenant was found and the building has now been converted into restaurant and office space.

Sausalito has one movie theatre, and although it has been subdivided into three screens it still has some of the classic feel of the old building when you’re in the lobby.
