Sausalito Gelato and Chocolate

Entrepreneur Michael Lappert, whose father Walter founded Lappert’s Ice Cream in Kauai in 1983, owns three different kinds of sweet shops on Bridgeway in Sausalito. Lappert’s Ice Cream is a long-time downtown icon, as is Fish and Chips of Sausalito… where the far-left counter position (no, I’m not discussing politics!) is a Lappert”s Ice Cream mini-shop.
The newest of the three treat-tenders is Sausalito Gelato and Chocolate (which started out with the name COA Chocolate & Gelato), which took over the storefront that previously housed Pick Me Up Chocolate in 2020… just in time for the pandemic!
As long as they have great gelato and chocolate I don’t care what they’re called! And you’ll be quizzed on all these name changes on Wednesday!
