OK, gang, before we do anything else let’s review the THREE different ways to get to the Sausalito Art Festival by ferry, so no one gets confused. Drum roll, please…
1. Buy a combined ferry and Festival entrance ticket and take the Blue and Gold ferry from Pier 41 (next to Pier 39) in San Francisco right to a pier adjacent to the Festival grounds.
2. Take a regular Sausalito Ferry from Blue and Gold’s berth next to Pier 39 in San Francisco, and arrive at the Sausalito pier in downtown Sausalito. The Festival runs a free shuttle service from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM each day between the ferry pier and the Festival’s main entrance.. 3. Take a Golden Gate Ferry from the Ferry Building in San Francisco, adjacent to the Embarcadero BART station. And, as the headline suggests, they have a special expanded schedule for the Art Festival that connects to the shuttles mentioned above. The Golden Gate Ferry ticket prices are here.
