We are sorry to report that Bridgeway Cafe closed in 2020 due to the pandemic.
Bridgeway Cafe is a charming little place along the part of Bridgeway with open vistas of the Bay. They’re the only place in downtown Sausalito with a Bay view that has a full breakfast menu on weekday mornings. If the UPS guy hasn’t decided to park his truck in the median, the view from the tiny tables in front is fabulous, as are the views from the window tables inside.
Something else that people should know about Bridgeway Cafe? If Burt Bacharach visited Sausalito instead of Otis Redding, would the song have been called, “Do You Know the Way to Bridgeway Cafe?” instead of “Sittin’ on the Dock of the Bay“? Disagree with any of our suggestions? Please let us know!
