Neighborhood: Above Spring Valley and Marinship South. No rest rooms or water. There is almost no visitor parking in the area — these neighborhood playgrounds are located within walking distance of many Sausalito neighborhoods and are designed for families to come on foot rather than by car. Langendorf Playground
Langendorf Playground (which is also called Langendorf Park) has kid sized swings at one end of a narrow lawn, and little kid bucket swings next to picnic table at the other end (pictured above). The park sits at the base of a landscaped hillside with stairs that lead up to Woodward Ave. and broad steps going down to Easterby. There’s a great mix of sun and shade.
Apart from throwing a frisbee on the lawn, there isn’t a lot of space here for older kids to play if the swings don’t interest them.
