Napa Valley Burger Company
Insiders Tip: For summer, 2024 they are closed on Tuesdays and open 11:30 AM – 6:00 PM. In other times of year (when Sausalito has fewer visitors) they are likely to have a different schedule, so call ahead or check their website before you come.
Napa Valley Burger Company’s home is the oldest brick building (built in 1875) in Sausalito. The new layout is functional and inviting and the burgers are chosen from a diverse menu and well prepared. They also have salads and fish and chips, which on our last visit were made with mahi mahi.
The sometimes secret part: despite the image of “a burger place,” Napa Valley Burger Co. is not fast food and they use high quality ingredients and have excellent service. You can see all their trophies at the top of this page. It’s arguably one of the best places in Marin County that specializes in burgers, and one of my favorite places in town for a business lunch. So now you know our well-known local secret!
