Fast Forward SummaryTM: When I was in college I had a friend who acted differently in front of each person in our dorm so everyone would like him. Seven Seas Greenhouse Restaurant has the same "we can be any kind of place you want" personality. Feel like ice cream? They have a full Dreyer's Ice Cream bar in the front. Need a drink? There's a full bar serving cocktails right across the aisle (yes, ice cream to the left, booze to the right!), and they'll make non-alcohol fruity drinks for the kids. Want some pizza? They have it sitting there ready for you, and they sell it by the slice. Want to sit down and order sandwiches or a burger or seafood or a salad from a full menu, served in an indoor patio with small trees and plants (but no windows)? Great, come on back and they have that, too. As generalists their range of choices is hard to beat, but for each of their categories there's a specialist nearby who does that specialty well.
