Neighborhood: Caledonia St. (New Town). No website yet. Free street parking and city lot nearby, though you might need to walk a few blocks.
Insiders Tip: The logo makes it look like the name is “San Drino” but it really is “Sandrino.” We asked the owners to make sure! The name comes from a childhood nickname for the husband side of the husband-and-wife team.
Insiders Tip: Check out our special page on Parking Near Caledonia St. Without Getting a Ticket. It explains how to avoid the no-parking zones that catch some visitors by surprise.

Sandrino just opened in Sausalito in September, 2015, occupying the space formerly occupied by Rossetti Pizzeria. The restaurant has Italian owners committed to authentic food and flavors. In just their first year, as you can see, they racked up an impressive collection of OurSausalito.com dining trophies on the chart above.
Service here is warm and friendly, and our first pizza had a thin, crisp crust and rich flavors, so it feels like Sandrino is off to a good start. We really enjoyed Rossetti’s, but there was not a lot of variety on the menu. Sandrino has more kinds of pizza and a much wider variety of non-pizza Italian dishes to choose from.
One great change from the prior restaurant in this spot: Sandrino accepts credit cards, which makes things a lot more convenient!
