Valet parking available; self-parking requires a walk up the hill. Note: “La Mariposa Borracha” (“the drunken butterfly”) listed on the sign in the photo above is a meeting room for businesses or events at The Cavallo Point Lodge, not a separate restaurant or bar, despite its name.

Farley
A Well-Deserved Honor: Farley is named in honor of cartoonist Phil Frank, who passed away in 2007 and is one of Sausalito’s favorite sons. His comic strip “Farley” ran for over 30 years in the San Francisco Chronicle, and he also was the author of several books, including one on photos showing the history of houseboats in Sausalito.
Farley started life as Farley Bar at the Cavallo Point Lodge in Fort Baker just south of Sausalito, part of the GGNRA. After the pandemic its menu was expanded to make it a restaurant.
