Note: We debate at length whenever we review this list, since the definition of “best sandwich” means different things to different people. For example, if you love panini then DiVino will go to the top of your list. If it’s all about the bread then Sausalito Bakery & Cafe is king of the hill. A majority of our Editors are traditional deli sandwich fans, so look at this list with those factors in mind.
